De Silva Palm Resort - Kalpitiya

This hotel in Kalpitiya is truly exceptional. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. One staff member even made herbal medicine for a guest who wasn't feeling well. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are clean, with the added bonus of air conditioning. The location at the lagoon is perfect for kite and wind surfing enthusiasts, and they have a great school with trained professionals. Plus, the breakfast is delicious with plenty of local and healthy options.

All was ok, but it would be better if the excursions and boat trips were more centrally organized to avoid payment confusion.

El staff majísimo. Habitación genial, mini apartamento con cocina. Cama comodísima y bañera puntazo. Muy limpio y cerca del Soho. Detalles con el cliente, recepción en terraza con queso y vino. Desayuno genial. Muy bien comunicado, estación de metro al lado.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel right by the lagoon. The hotel facilities were super clean and included a wonderful pool, perfect for chilling after my windsurf session. the breakfast was delicious and the staff were diligent and helpful. They even went out of their way to make my experience enjoyable, like when the bartender made me some herbal medicine to help with my stomach. The hotel location had easy access to the Kalpitiya village and transportation, making it easy to book further accommodations or things in the area.

No complaints about this hotel. This city caters to all my needs.

We chose this hotel for its location near the beach and for their friendly staff. the room had air conditioning and a beautiful pool to swim in. the breakfast was quite good and the price was reasonable for what was offered.

the WiFi was only available in the reception area and the road leading to the hotel was in poor condition, making it difficult to access.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Kalpitiya. The location was perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing, with easy access to the lagoon and new gear available for rent. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms with AC were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day in the sun. The breakfast options were great, with made-to-order eggs and a taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. I also appreciated the variety of food and shop options within walking distance of the hotel.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

The hotel had a good location, being close to the village, and right on the lagoon which was great for water sports. the in-house facilities such as breakfast and service were satisfying. Guests could also book excursions around the area.

The rooms were slightly disappointing, with basic bathrooms and mediocre views.
